Farmers’ Markets Continue Amid Pandemic
Farmers’ markets throughout the Milwaukee area are back, but they’ll look and feel different this year. Due to ongoing COVID-19 safety measures, most markets will not allow families and friends to socially gather, bring their dogs, consume food on premises or browse; however, Wisconsin farmers and food vendors stand ready to sell their produce and goods. Customers will still be able to find most of their favorite seasonal produce, meats, eggs, cheese, jams, pickles and more, and maybe even certain items not available in supermarkets due to hoarding.
