T'ai Chi Fundamental is a slow, gentle exercise originating from Yang style T'ai Chi that enhances relaxation skills, mental focus, and postural alignment while building leg strength, endurance, and stability. This reduces tension and pain in the back and neck and supports healthy posture. Research suggests that T'ai Chi can improve balance, reduce stress and enhance immune function. This non-impact, moderate-intensity cardiovascular exercise for all ages and abilities can complement any health care regimen. Please bring water to class. Register through Mindbody app, Wauwatosa Recreation Department, or our website. Monday and Wednesday (different time) classes currently available.
