Beginner to Intermediate Yoga students and beyond
Join us in a welcoming, inclusive, uplifting Yoga practice for all levels and backgrounds. Set to music, this class explores poses, breathing, and mindfulness in a relaxed, friendly environment. Benefits from this holistic physical practice can include improved posture, strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity, emotion regulation, and connection with others. Instructors guide you through basic to intermediate poses with modifications and slow to moderately-paced sequences that may include such favorites as Plank, Pigeon, Dancer and Downward Dog. Meditative rest to follow. Open Door emphasizes kindness towards self and others and strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental space. All are welcome! Please bring a mat and water to class. Other props provided. You may register through the Mindbody app, Wauwatosa Recreation Department, or on our website. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday (different time), and Sunday (different time) classes currently available.
