The Milwaukee Riverkeeper Boat Parade celebrates Milwaukee's Waterways September 24th
Sep 01, 2023 08:31PM ● By Jordan PeschekThe Milwaukee Riverkeeper Boat Parade is a celebration of Milwaukee's waterways, hosted by Milwaukee Riverkeeper. It melds art, music, nature and environmental advocacy. This year's theme is: An active river is a happy river. This event features eleven parade floats that really FLOAT made by local artists, a musical performance and a guest appearance from Mermaid Echo.
The Milwaukee Boat Parade takes place downtown Milwaukee on the Milwaukee River. Floats will depart from HarborFest at 12:30pm and will parade up the Milwaukee River to Lakefront Brewery and turnaround, concluding by 3pm. The parade is viewable from the Riverwalk, Pere Marquette Park or any of Milwaukee's riverfront restuarants and breweries. It it a FREE, fun way to get outside and enjoy the early fall weather.
