Classes for Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) certification program for Water Technician and associate degree program for Environmental Health and Water Quality Technology begin January 18. For those looking for a career in water or environmental health, MATC offers classes that train students to work in water treatment and reclamation, sampling, lab analytical work, recycling, field monitoring and more.

The Environment Health and Water Quality Technology and Water Technician Certification programs are available at MATC’s Mequon Campus. MATC offers affordable tuition at a fraction of the cost of a public four-year institution. The MATC Promise program for new high school graduates provides an opportunity to earn free tuition.
