Heather Eiden, an art education specialist and childcare teacher at Milwaukee Montessori School, will lead Entrepreneur for Kids, an interactive art event at Milwaukee Art Therapy Collective, from 10 a.m. to noon on December 11. The workshop builds off of Eiden’s Outdoor Entrepreneurs after-school group, in which first through fifth graders use an interactive Play-Doh table to sculpt ideas for businesses and jobs of the future.

“Kids will need to stretch their creative imaginations to come up with the new jobs,” explains Eiden. “It is never too early to start planning for the future. Children at the event will get a business plan and Play-Doh to envision their dreams.” Eiden has a master’s degree in art education from Concordia University.
