Sonia Vasquez of Amasonia is hosting an Amazon rainforest healing tour, June 30 through July 5, in which participants will have the opportunity to meet the indigenous and scientific communities in the Colombian Amazon forest. The unique educational expedition will teach the healing properties of the forest, with opportunities to experiment with medicinal plants under the guidance of highly experienced and respected native healers. There will also be multiple opportunities to explore the forest and enjoy safe adventures.

The $1,250 cost includes highly experienced, professional native guides and healers; round-trip airfare from Bogota, Colombia to Leticia, Colombia (transportation to and from Colombia not included); transportation, meals and housing in Leticia; equipment necessary for the expedition; and insurance for outdoor experiences. Registration is required by May 1.

“The Amazon rainforest is the world’s largest and most biodiverse tropical rainforest. It is also home to nearly 400 distinct indigenous peoples with rich and ancient knowledge of the healing power of the forest,” says Vasquez.
