Professional animal communicator specialist Stacy Krafczyk will lead a workshop, Reiki I for Animals & People, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. September 23 at Bark & Scratch Outpost, in Milwaukee. The workshop is designed to teach participants reiki in order to aid them in healing themselves as well as their friends, family and animal companions.

Attendees will practice on each other after being taught the origins and lineage of reiki and learning specific hand placements. Animal companions will be present in the class to aid in the education. Each student will receive a handout, a beautiful reiki attunement and a certification of completion.

“This is an empowering workshop which brings a conscious awareness of the helplessness that people feel when they are in upsetting or crisis situations. Reiki empowers people by giving them a tool they can use when they experience such feelings,” says Krafczyk. In addition to being a professional animal communicator, she’s also an intuitive, medium and reiki master teacher.
