Spring Ahead with a Body Purification Program
Paul Shinkle, an acupuncturist and executive director of The Enerqi Center for Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, will host two purification program events at 7 p.m., March 7, and 9 a.m., March 9. These one-hour informational seminars discuss what purification is and how a smart, safe and simple 21-day purification program can be an effective spring tonic.
“A 21-day purification program is a gentle effort to regain and maintain your natural, radiant good health with small changes to what you eat. Unlike a diet, a purification program isn’t about the scales or adopting extreme food choices. It’s about using food to make a healthier, happier life,” says Shinkle, noting that humans are exposed to toxins through the environment, food, air and water. “Our amazing bodies scrub these toxins via the lungs, liver and kidneys, but it is an uphill battle. We can support our natural body-purifying processes with a 21-day purification program.”
All participants receive a purification-supporting recipe booklet. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited; reservations are strongly encouraged.
Admission is free. Location: 10827 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis. For more information, call 414-209-4228, email [email protected] or visit EnerqiAcu.com.
