Naturopathic doctor Joanne Aponte has joined the team of complementary and alternative health and wellness practitioners at Lakeside Natural Medicine. Aponte will begin seeing patients January 6 and is committed to addressing the underlying causes of health challenges in order to help her patients achieve a higher level of wellness. Her areas of focus include gastrointestinal disorders, women’s health conditions, recurrent infections, autoimmune disease, eczema, acne, thyroid disorders, weight gain and fatigue.

Aponte will practice alongside Lakeside naturopathic doctor Sarah Axtell. The addition of Aponte will help meet the high demand in the Milwaukee area for natural health experts, says Axtell, who founded Lakeside in 2011.
