New Generation of Spiritual Leaders Form Light of Grace
Rev. Thomas Sherbrook
St. Ann’s Interdenominational Church has recently reopened as Light of Grace, a center focused on advancing each person on his or her spiritual journey. Senior Pastor Thomas Sherbrook, along with Associate Pastor Kris A. Nelsen, are the presiding spiritual leaders.
“Our message and lessons are focused around A Course in Miracles, which we believe is a true path to the divine,” Nelsen says. “We offer classes, study groups, counseling and healing that assist individuals in taking the next step on their spiritual journey.”
Two classes in January comprise the 12-hour Usui Holy Fire Reiki training, a master Reiki class led by Dic Paitrick, one of the few trained holy fire masters in Wisconsin. Additionally, longtime St. Ann’s teacher and healer Beverly Koglin will teach What Are Power Words?, focusing on the power of thoughts and words and how they can change lives.
Light of Grace offers wedding services and will soon launch a separate wedding website with a variety of package options for couples. Nelsen notes that Light of Grace is non-traditional and LGBT-friendly.
