Gold in September to Hold Celebration of Hope
Gold in September, also known as G9, an organization dedicated to raising awareness, creating hope and finding cures to defeat cancer, will hold the Green and Gold Golden Celebration of Hope on September 25 at The Grain Exchange, in Milwaukee. The Green Bay Packers Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association is sponsoring the event and will feature players from the first Packers NFL Championship game. During the event, Packers alumni will hold a panel discussion and be seated with first-tier sponsors as special guests for an elegant dinner.
Event attendees will also have an opportunity to hear from G9 founder Annie Bartosz, who founded the organization when she was only 11 years old. Her twin brother, Jack, battled cancer for seven years. After Jack lost his fight, Bartosz became determined to take action to bring an end to childhood cancer.
"I believe my brother would be proud of me, and though he may not be by my side, he will be in my heart forever,” says Bartosz.
