Fashionistas for Fur-Babies Fundraiser to Help Special Needs Pets
Dr. Jodie Gruenstern
Integrating People for Animal Wellness (iPAW), a nonprofit dedicated to decreasing unwarranted euthanasia of pets with physical or behavioral issues, presents Fashionistas for Fur-Babies, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 11, at the Milwaukee Marriott West, in Waukesha. The event promises an afternoon fashion show, vendors of fashions for humans and pets, a raffle and a silent auction.
Veterinarian Jodie Gruenstern, owner of Animal Doctor Holistic Veterinary Complex, in Muskego, founded iPAW to bring together like-minded people to harbor, foster or place pets that would otherwise be euthanized due to their unwanted status or poor quality of life. The group strives to promote education of animal wellness. For decades, Gruenstern has housed a colony of needy cats at her own expense.
