Yuletide Faire at Prairie Hill Waldorf School
Step back to a magical time at Prairie Hill Waldorf School’s 27th annual Yuletide Faire, from 5 to 9 p.m., November 21, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., November 22. The holiday festival features strolling minstrels and costumed characters such as the Faire’s king and queen, troubadour, muffin man, pickle man and pocket lady.
The Faire also includes marionette puppet shows, storytelling, candle dipping, face painting and children’s crafts. Local musicians and Prairie Hill students will sing and perform music. More than 35 vendors will sell handcrafted toys, children’s books, hot cocoa, food and desserts.
Prairie Hill is a nonprofit, independent Waldorf School, educating children from infants to the eighth grade. The school encourages the capacity for dynamic thinking, creativity and compassion, inspiring children to contribute their unique gifts to the world.
