Reconnective Healing for Athletic Injuries
Terri Humphrey
“By bringing the body into balance, athletic performance is enhanced and injuries are less likely to occur,” says Terri Humphrey, a certified Reconnective Healing practitioner and the owner of True Wholeness Healing, in Whitefish Bay.
Also a registered nurse and a certified life coach, she explains, “Reconnective Healing is a method that can shorten a person’s recovery period after injuries and surgery and promote more complete healing, so an athlete can more quickly return to his or her sport. Reconnective Healing can also be used as a preventive measure, decreasing stress and anxiety. Life coaching can help the athlete to learn techniques for dealing with performance anxiety.”
Humphrey has worked as a pediatric nurse for 30 years and has practiced Reconnective Healing and Reiki since 2011. She uses Reconnective Healing to treat myriad physical ailments, emotional distress and spiritual concerns.
