The Green Team, a sustainably focused landscaping company, is collaborating with Smart Gardener Backyard to launch a full-service mobile agricultural division. The program will provide a framework for designing, maintaining and monitoring edible gardens.

The service is geared toward businesses like restaurants and homeowners that do not have the time or expertise to maintain their own urban farm. The mobile agricultural division can design, install, maintain and harvest raised beds. Chickens, bees, composting and other services will be available where local laws allow. Smart Gardener provides a free garden planner for do-it-yourself gardeners.

“This new service in the community can make sustainable local food a reality on any property,” says The Green Team owner Bradley Blaeser. “A restaurant, for instance, will have an opportunity to serve the freshest, most locally produced food for their customers.” The Green Team also distributes Tower Garden’s vertical, soil-free, aeroponic gardening systems and products.
