Motivation Central Station Opens in West Allis
Jim Rauth
Jim Rauth, a wellness consultant and student in the Milwaukee Area Technical College Human Services Alcohol and Other Drug Addictions Counselor program, has opened a new business, Motivation Central Station, in West Allis. Rauth’s weekly classes focus on the development of what he calls the eight dimensions of life: physical, emotional, intellectual, career, financial, environmental, spiritual and recreational.
In addition to group classes, one-on-one sessions and corporate wellness development services are available. “My business is unique in that we offer an ongoing assessment to keep individuals succeeding in the areas they feel they need to improve on. I developed the quiz called, ‘Are You an Egg or a Wheel?’ People love it because it helps them to isolate their weaknesses and strengthen themselves,” explains Rauth, who will complete his education in May.
Rauth has volunteered at the Grand Avenue Club, a nonprofit resource for adults with mental illness. During his volunteer tenure, he authored the book, What Color is Your Brain Scan? The Answer is in Your Head and Habits.
Cost: $165 for a six-week session. Location: 2185 S. 83 St., West Allis. For more information, call 414-617-8027 or visit BeHappyLiveNow.com.
