From the biological sciences, we know that life on Earth is dependent upon the light, heat and energy of the Sun; without it, all life would perish. Some spiritual theories explore the idea that light energy from the Sun may create and sustain spiritual consciousness for human life, as well. They believe that learning to work with the light of the Sun could enhance physical health and expand spiritual consciousness.

The theories of quantum physics suggest that everything is energy, including consciousness and thoughts. According to lecturer, author and filmmaker David Wilcock, who wrote The Source Field Investigations, photons of light energy from the sun must be continually absorbed and stored in the DNA for the survival of the human species. He suggests that the more prepared the body’s energy vibration is to absorb the higher frequencies of solar energy, the healthier humans will be, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.

Gene Savoy Sr., an American author, explorer and theologian, researched ancient cultures and spiritual traditions to develop a scientific system for working safely with the light of the Sun to expand spiritual consciousness. He founded the International Jamilian University, in Reno, Nevada, in 1972, which teaches the spiritual science of Cosolargy. The Cosolargy Academy teachings incorporate a foundation for understanding how sun energy can be used as the source for color, light and sound healing.

According to these teachings, all healing energy comes to this planet through the light energy consciousness of the Sun. Inherent in these frequencies are the wave fronts of color, light and sound that can assist the body’s ability to heal itself. Because selfhealing is a prerequisite for expanded spiritual consciousness, it is theorized that the healing light from the Sun has the capacity to heal the physical body and expand spiritual consciousness.

The key that opens the door to this magnificent pathway to spiritual luminescence is to sustain the vibrational frequency of unconditional love. The Sun is the light source for all life on this planet; solar consciousness provides the path to transformation. The collective power of enlightened consciousness will create the future for our planet—a new golden age never before experienced in the history of humanity.
