Visionary artist Lori Daniel Falk has selected Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) as the December recipient of her company’s Angels With A Cause program. Throughout the month, a percentage of the proceeds of every Indigo/Crystal Angel product sale will go directly to support CHW.

CHW selected the Indigo/Crystal Angel as this month’s Angel With a Cause. The Indigo/Crystal Angelic Message Portrait was created to help children feel safe and at home in the hospital, which often seems to them a rather unusual, and sometimes frightening, place to be.

Angels With a Cause was created to raise awareness of a variety of social issues and wellness concerns, while generating profits for charitable organizations that support these concerns. Falk’s Angelic Message Portraits, the fundraising vehicle for this program, were created as images of beauty and as healing tools.

The use of the arts in healing has grown dramatically, and studies by Duke University Medical Center and Dartmouth Medical School revealed that art heals by changing both a person's physiology and their emotional attitude.
