Milwaukee Yoga Class for Beginner to Intermediate Yoga students and beyond
Community Yoga is a welcoming, inclusive, uplifting Yoga practice for all levels and backgrounds. Set to music, this class explores poses, breathing, and mindfulness in a relaxed, friendly environment. Benefits from this holistic practice can include improved posture, strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity, emotion regulation, and connection with others. Instructors guide you through basic to intermediate poses with modifications and slow to moderately-paced sequences that may include such favorites as Plank, Pigeon, Dancer, and Downward Dog. Meditative rest to follow.
Please bring a mat and water to class. Other props provided. Register through the Mindbody app, Wauwatosa Recreation Department, or our website. M/W/F (other time), Saturday (other time), and Sunday (other time) classes currently available.
