New Year's Eve Day Guided Forest Therapy Walk

Join Intentionally Outdoors on a 2 hour guided Forest Therapy walk in Grant Park.

End 2024 with time spent outdoors connecting with nature. Take a moment to slow down after the busy holiday season. Rest, rejuvenate and de-stress on the last day of the year.

Join Intentionally Outdoors on a 2 hour guided Forest Therapy walk in Grant Park. Our walks are designed for adults aged 18 and older. Please register and pay in advance, as only registered participants can join. These gentle and restorative walks are designed for all activity levels and usually cover less than one mile.

What is Forest Therapy? Forest Therapy, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku or forest bathing, involves immersing yourself in nature through all five senses. A certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide leads you through a series of sensory based invitations that encourage mindful interactions with nature. These walks are not a traditional hike, exercise or naturalist walk, instead Forest Therapy focuses on nurturing your relationship with nature and yourself, fostering relaxation and rejuvenation. It is a practice where we slow down, awaken our senses and reconnect to the land.

If these public walks are not a convenient time for you feel free to reach out to Intentionally Outdoors. We offer private walks where we can find a time and place that is convenient to you or your group.
