Jul 03, 2024 04:16PM ● By Jordan Peschek

Join Master Wasentha Young for an immersive Chi Kung retreat at the Siena Retreat Center on August 11 and 12. This two-day event is a chance to deepen your understanding of self-care energy work. The retreat focuses on the four major areas of Chi Kung: Mind, Breath/Imagery/Movement, Muscle Energy Strengthening and Elemental Relationships.

Set on the shore of Lake Michigan, halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago, the Siena Retreat Center offers a beautiful natural setting for your exploration. Their labyrinth, shoreline, nourishing food and serene spaces will enhance learning. The $599 investment in yourself includes meals and overnight accommodations.

Young, a seasoned practitioner since 1968, brings her expertise in Tai Chi, Qigong, Meditation and self-care practices to this retreat. With a master's degree in Transpersonal Studies and certifications in Acupressure and Chinese Five Elements Theory, Young is renowned for her insightful lectures and educational programs.

The retreat includes overnight accommodations in a private bedroom with bath facilities and meals provided by Siena Retreat’s catering team, with options for vegetarian and gluten-free meals upon request. Attendees can also bring their own food, with access to a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. The serene retreat center grounds offer a perfect backdrop for both the structured and casual evening programs, which may include conversation, "ah ha" moments and a fun movie.
