Spirit Camp Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity organized in Wisconsin earlier this year to offer unique summer camps that honor a child’s spirit. They are proud to host Dancing Jaguar Spirit Camp, a five-day program that offers kids many ways to explore, express and honor their child spirit. The metaphysical summer camp helps children disconnect from technology and encourages them to make a deeper connection to who they are, encouraging them to explore their inner landscape utilizing ancient wisdom practices and modern holistic techniques.
The camp takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., August 5 through 9, at Knickerbocker on the Lake, in Milwaukee. Campers will bring their own lunch, snacks, water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellent. They will spend time outdoors at Juneau Park every day. “What I’ve come to realize after all these years is that happiness and fulfillment can only be found within,” shares Shawn Clausing, president of Spirit Camp Inc. “In 2024 at the age of 50, I started a nonprofit organization based upon my passion for self-realization. My mission is to help children learn at a much younger age than I did that peace, joy and happiness come from within.”
The camp is a place for children to gain wisdom for life. They will experience a deeper connection to their authentic selves, learn how to trust their intuition, identify and manage critical self-talk, increase confidence and self-esteem, learn self-regulation techniques and more.
Cost: $275 per child. Discounts and scholarships available. Location: 1028 E. Juneau Ave., Milwaukee. To register, visit SpiritCamp.kids. For more information, call or text Shawn Clausing at 414-510-3814 or email [email protected].
