Sustainability Fair in Port Washington

The fifth annual Sustainability Fair, sponsored by the Ozaukee Community Awareness Forum and PortFish, Ltd., will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., May 19, at the First Congregational Church, in Port Washington.

The theme of this year’s fair is To Bee or Not to Bee, focusing on the plight of the honeybee population, beekeeping and local honey producers, as well as a broader focus on local food production and water and energy conservation.

The fair offers a variety of informational exhibitors, including local community supported agriculture groups and community gardens, as well as locally produced honey, live music, a silent auction, a children’s table and a snack shop.
