Vibrant Life Vibrant Child presents a Health Fair and Tasting Safari, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 25, at the Waukesha County Expo Center. The event promises educational and interactive booths and seminars hosted by local health professionals that will help people discover the power of natural healing and inspire individuals to take charge of their own health. Demonstrations include testing for the pH of one’s water and body, plus testing of cell phones for electromagnetic radiation. Attendees can enjoy free healthy food samples, massages and BioMat experiences. Meals from ZuZu’s Organic Café and fair trade clothing and jewelry will be available for purchase.

The Expo includes a Wild Food Tasting Safari, where children are invited to taste what makes the gorilla stronger than superman, the hippo able to crush granite with its jaws, a gazelle jump higher than a basketball hoop and a charging bull as powerful as a freight train: that is, living, power-packed food. Samples of more than 60 foods will be available. These healthy fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouts, sauces and smoothies will recapture children’s taste buds and reintroduce them to nutritious foods. Participating children will track what makes their taste buds roar, taking home a complete list of likes and dislikes on a personalized Passport to Health.

Vibrant Life Vibrant Child, Inc., is a nonprofit educational program encouraging children to eat power-packed, nutrient-dense foods. With one in three children currently overweight in the U.S. and childhood diseases on the rise, the organization created the Tasting Safari to help children discover that healthy food makes a difference.
