Mary Oliver’s Poetry: A Doorway to Connection with Nature and the Divine
The poetry of Mary Oliver is deeply insightful, inviting us into deeper attention to the world around us. During this weekend retreat led by spiritual director Greg Rose, we will use Mary Oliver’s poetry as a guide to discover and explore our personal connection to nature and the divine. By reflecting on Mary Oliver’s poetry and through facilitated group discussion, journaling, and personal reflection time, we will remind ourselves of the sacredness of all of creation, including ourselves and our lives. We will be encouraged to see the divine in all things and to consider how it is that we want to be in the world. Please bring a journal with you.
We invite you during this weekend to slow down, to notice and appreciate the beauty of the world that surrounds us, and to be inspired on your spiritual journey.
